Ok finally heard back from the last of the companies I emailed about the doors. None of them make a door that will allow for the use of factry glass and components but one was able to point me to a company in Florida that could probably make a one off set for a couple hundred extra bucks.

are you sure our factory hoods aren't fiberglass? when i took my hood off to paint it, it was pretty damn light. it was about the same weight of the fiberglass hood on my 66'. just saying.

To me it seems heavy. Maybe the newer stangs have a beefier hood.
Wonder how the hood would hold up if we removed the underhood structure.

stock hoods are heavy I opened the hood on my friends gt and was like "what in the f***" having an aftermarket hood for years does that I guess.

I wouldn't take the structure away from your hood if you plan on still running it as your DD. Without that structure its more than likely going to fold up on itself if you go over 45-55 mph

Good informational video but the problem with trying to run those kinds of nylon belted tires is that they are extremely costly and I doubt they make them in a street tire

Yes but how many of us would be able to purchase a Lotus Elise PLUS be able to afford the insurance? Plus thos lotus cars aren't very suitable for some of the taller drivers
