running/parking light questions
ok this is a simple, personal styling question I have. When we turn on our parking lights (the amber lights) they are at there dim point, apposed to when the flash when the turn signal is on (dim, bright, dim, bright). Is there a way that when your parking lights on on, can they always be bright? If its easy to do, id like to see how it would look it they were like this.

like i said, its a personal styling thing. I'd like to see if it would be easy to do and if it would look better.

but then they would be either off or on, but i see your point. I was thinking, since they ar dual filaments, one burns brighter than the other right? then couldn't you flip the wires for the two filaments to create the opposite effect?

What you are trying to accomplish is quite very easy and ive done it before but it looks bad, not only that but you will loose your turn signal effect

okay take a look here. red= low power green= high power black= ground all you have to do is cut the green wire and splice into the red wire(green wire coming out of the socket) then it will send current to both bulb filaments making both of them light up. Or you can eliminate the red and and splice only the green to the red one so only the Bright filament will light up constantly. Its all a matter of understanding your wires.

ok, but what if you switch the red and green?
so run the red where the green was and green where the red is. wouldn't you still get the flashing effect? |

it will be backwards obviusly and will work, but why would you want a Low flash when you put your turn signal?

either way it will flash. so while right now it will be (dim, bright, dim, bright) but when switched, it will be (bright, dim, bright, dim) It would still flash. I just want to see personally how the birght will look with the lights on while still having the flash function. Its sequence will just be reversed (in theory)
