alright guys hopefully someone here can help me out, i got 2 thrush welds mufflers in the boxes sitting in my trunk. Ive been looking for a good shop to install them however i havent had much luck. Ace Muffler (one of the the best reviewed shops here in san diego) quoted me $500 bucks for materials and labor . So my question is do any of my fellow Southern Cali guys know were i can get these installed without getting ripped off?

Are you single pipe now? $500 is steep, but if you are having them make you an H-Pipe it's not BAD...

im planning on just running divorced duals which is why i also thought it was pretty damn pricey

yea to just run straight piping with mufflers shouldn't cost more than $100-$150 if you already have the mufflers.

yea thats what i was thinking. i was shocked when they gave me the $500 estimate. Wanted to backhand the guy for being nuts (nah im jp though i did feel like it)

Well If you're mechanically inclined you can do this.

Or you could go over to Foxfire 5.0 in Vista after 2012 hits and see if they could do something for you... and if you go on Friday or Saturday ask for Joker, tell him Garrett referred you over there...He's got a pretty sweet cammed H/C/I sixxer puttin down 250 rwhp.

Thanks man but im not too crazy about doing my own exhaust system to be honest. regardless thanks, ima go shop hunting after work. I really want to have this done before the holidays (Christmas present to myself)
