Two issues...

Today I decided to do a few things on the car:
  • Change passenger manifold gasket
  • Install new Sportline Spinrgs

Everything went smoothly. Well... as smoothly as they could, Lol. After I got everything back together I have two issues:
  • When driving, tires make a high pitch squeel when turning. Also, tires make a low noise when spinning... knida like (as the wheel turns) wooohm... wooohm... woohm
  • The car is running rough. After cranking, it idles fine for about two mins. Then, the rpms drop and the car tries to die. It stutters alot during this time. The car also has a drone to it.

Any ideas? I am thinking of simply taking it to the shop tomorrow and saying "fix it" Lol. Been working on it for two days and I need it running Friday.

idle problem means you have a leak somewhere or didnt connect a tube or connector or something of that nature. You need to rework your steps and double check everything, same thing the "shop" will do..lol

The noise..check the power steering fluid and check the serpentine belt and tensioner. Did you mess with your brakes or calipers?

Ya, had to take the caliper loose to change the springs.

The sound is coming from the wheels, and its a metal grinding/rotating sound.

alignment ? Are your wheels rubbing against anything ? Put your pads back in wrong ? Double check everything, if it was not there before, chances are you made it happen.

Your calipers is loose and or the caliper bolt feel out. Mines did the same thing awhile back. Recheck reseat it and tighten it

for the power issue...something is loose or leaking...i'm guessing the gasket you replaced because that issue is still what happened to my GT when that gasket leaked on mine. as for the noise...just double check it all..

That one gasket would cause the engine to almost die? Why would it start a few mins AFTER the car has been running? I am 99% sure everything is back together the way it was. I will triple check it again.

As for the noise. I heard this same sound before and it was the lug nuts. However, they are on tight as can be. I will check everything around the wheel area again.

yeah it sounds crazy....if you look far enough into my history i had a thread on it...it happened a few times like when i would be leaving work and stopped...and the big time it happened the gasket went completely and i had to nurse my car home by hitting wot just to get the car to go over 20 mph to make it the last few miles home ....i know i replaced that one gasket 4 times before i sold that car

I honestly think I might just take the car in and have the shop check it out. Its been having a few odd issues, and I rather them all be found. Its been doing some odd idling stuff before. Its also had this drone to it for awhile now.

Plus, I have to spend the day with the lady friend tomorrow and I need the car running good by Friday, so no time to work on it.

Its probally nothing big. A vacuum hose or something. As for the noise on the wheels, probally nothing big either. Just don't have the time to take it all apart again tomorrow.

Alignment is off due to the new springs/installation, which is accentuating the fact that it's likely time for new wheel bearings.

you would probably be good for a new alignment.

Another thing to check, is the dust shield touching the rotors? This will cause a metal scraping noise.

+1 on checking your wheel bearings. They make the grinding noise as you mentioned when their time has come.

It starts a few minutes after your start your car because until your car warms up the ECU is in open loop, runs off of base maps, and ignores O2 sensor inputs. Once your car warms up the ECU goes into closed loop and uses O2 inputs to make changes to fuel delivery, so if you have an exhaust leak that throws off your O2 readings it will only present itself once the car warms up and enters closed loop operation.
