3.73 gears and mpg

My guess is you can answer this regardless whether you have 3.73 or 4.10. Does your city mpg stay the same or go up very minimal and highway goes down? or do they both go down?

I have my reasons for going 3.73 for those wanting to say "oh man, your auto, go 4.10....No.

i got 4.10s

city mileage stayed the same or actually might of went up.

highway mileage went down a little but its not really noticeable to me

im afraid you might be disappointed if you go with 3.73 over 4.10

I got 3.73s in a 5 speed I didn't see much of a difference

Bump, my 3.73s auto was quite different from 3.27s I thought. Its nice in the auto, but with that and the bama 93P tune I was pulling the same mpg I pull now with the 4.2 build ... about 14-16ish city and 18-20ish highway.

Highway I run about 2400 rpm @ 70mph w/ a 285/40/18 tire.

City 30mph im in 3rd, sometimes it'll bump to O/D at 35-37 and I can cost back down and keep it in O/D around 32ish mph.

Idk if 4.10s would get you into O/D much better in the city, but im sure auto+4.10 suck highway.

v6 3.8 I get 25 mpg highway for sure and city I'm not to sure but I would say about 20.

But I baby the heck out my car except on occasions

it says were suppose to get 18 in the city and 25 on the highway

He was asking for people with gears, not stock mustangs.

Currently i am averaging 17mpg according to the calculations for it, i wish it was higher but my second car will be something good on gas, idk what that will be yet but i was worried about the stang going down on gas.
