Well normally, one would ask. What are you goals/interest.

I wanna do FI. I want something with a good chunk of low end tq for sure! dont wanna spend over 2k on a forged block, so im not looking for an insanely stupid amount of power added.

Wouldn't mind adding a cam. I have a "lumpy" cam regrind sitting in my room to sale or use, and i thought of using it with the m90 if I went that route, but if I go turbo, Id like to get something more directed to a turbo.

Wouldn't mind doing some porting, idk if I have tools to do myself for sure or not, atleast get the ruff shit out as best I can ...

I could use any of the 94 stuff needed. I also have the 3.8 04 block (cam bearings are damaged but worked before and held oil pressure) and a set of my stock split port heads.

I also have my stock upper intake, but no lower. I have a spare TC/WP from the 4.2 that looks like it will work just fine. but no extra coolant by pass/bleeder pipe. Idk if the thermo housings can be reused or not either. Also my stock HB pulley was broken so its not gonna work, but I do have the 4.2 pulley. And even more im not sure about wiring and sensors at that so, thats all jsut FYI shit.

Oh btw, I love a sick blower whine

And wouldn't mind being in the 12's somewhere.

Obviously more power can sometimes mean less gearing and launch to get those times, and less power can mean you need more.
So

Obviously turbo is best way, but what would it take to get their m90 and turbo route with above ^

And to note, im limited and cant watch vids on youtube of actual runs at work, but it seems alot of M90 times that are out there are based on the SC times, and it seems like they weight a good 500lbs more atleast. That could be up to .5 ET which is a huge difference. But as said, my access to some of that detail is limited at work...

And so is my research time

If I put it in my 94 5 speed.

do a little weight removal, and maybe lok the 7.5 w/ 3.73s or something clsoe
Low 13s? I'm sure you could pull that off with long tubes + exhaust + gears + tune and maybe a pulley swap.

Providing you did a decent intercooler setup to start wtih.

So a small bit of porting and a nice cam to compliment ?

I don't think it's that crazy.

Basically you've got a car on the side that's not in the best shape and you want to make it into a fun little toy on the cheap. So you're going to throw in a junkyard motor, pulley it down and have some fun. I understand completely. Of course I'm also building a beat to shit GT with a mix of used and junkyard parts on the side.

For what it's worth, I saw a whole supercoupe motor for $300 up at the u-pull-it in Indy over the summer. The problem is that those yards are very hit and miss.

I mean if I had a 6er just sitting around and I stumbled across a $300 supercharged motor, you can bet I'd do it.

its much easier since its not OBD2. your gonna end up spending alot on a SC 3.8 motor build.

why not just drop in a junk part 302. gt40 heads and a cheap cam and call it a day
Just felt the need to correct this .. 94/95 V6 Mustangs ARE OBDII .. Only the v6's tho, not the GT's or Cobras.

Depends on your budget really. You could do a healthy cam, nitrous, split port heads, 4.30 gear with some slicks could get you in the mid to low 12 range.

Fuck it, decided a V8 will go in the 94 if I decide to keep it.

After I fix my hg problem in the 04 im finding some nitrous for it.

Question is, starting w/ a N/A build and 230whp, is a 100 shot still "safe" with a tune and will my fuel pump handle it.
Remember 99% of the info out there is for stock to lightly modding V6s. Not full N/A builds ...

Any help so I know what parts to start looking for. The kit it self wont be hard, window switch, saftey this and that blah blah I know

100 Will be safe with new plugs and retarded timing. If your on stock fuel pump now I would upgrade it, running lean on nitrous is not very forgiving. Good fuel pumps are not very expensive.

Look on the forums, eBay and Craigslist for someone selling it. There is always someone getting rid of a nitrous setup for some reason or another.
