Car Dome light will not turn off!! Help

Hey guys... so I got into my car the other day, and everything was fine..I turned on my car, and the dome light came on, and stayed on?? I was like WTF!! Any suggestions? I made sure both doors shut properly, its on whether my car is on or off, parking brake or not.. doesnt matter, dome light wont shut off... Im about to call my car rudolf... its pissing me off.. Help

check your headlight switch. happened to me once.
If it is turned all the way to the left it turns the interior lights on. turn it to the right a bit.

Mine did that once and it wasnt the headlight switch...it was a bad switch in the passenger door....Pissed me off pretty good though...if it wasnt what was said above that'd be the next thing i'd check...if you unplug it and the light goea out you have your culprit.
