2002 GT wheels fit a 99v6?

Im looking to upgrade wheels n tires. Does anybody know if 02 gt wheels will fit a 99 v6? Im confident the bolt circle is the same but what about backspace on wider wheels. Any issues with rubbing on suspension parts etc...?

I doubt you'll have any problems. I'm not positive though, but I do use 99ish model V6 rims on my '02GT for slicks and they fit fine.

Shouldn't be a problem both wheels have pretty much the same offset. I know I have 05 V6 wheels on my 95 and they fit with a much smaller offset.

They fit 100% no problem. All 94-04 5-lug Mustang wheels are interchangeable except the Cobra because of its larger brakes.

they will fit, but what was your original tire size, and what are the new ones? to make sure your speedo wont be off, you might want to check it with a tire calculator... i know some came with 15's and some came with 16's. if you had 15's and are gonna use the 17's you will need something like a 245/45/17

I have 2003 Cobra 17" rims with 245/45/17 Goodyear eagles on my 1995 V6 stang.

Let me rephrase: v6 wheels won't fit a cobra, but vis versa will fit fine
