Question

Throttle Body Replacement

Just was wandering AM and saw Technical Notes. Not legal in emissions controlled states. on mostly all of the throttle bodies. why is it illegal? and should I consider buying one? is it worth it?

only upgrade intake components as they become the cause of your restriction.

The stock intake is perfectly fine, stock throttle body is perfectly fine, stock manifolds are fine, it's the heads that are your restriction. Once you open those up and start forcing more air in (cam or boost) you can start measuring CFM from your other parts and figure out where your restriction is.

If you want any modifications to you TB, get an extra and half-shaft and port it.
