honestly i'd just put the engine in it and drive it for a few months...slap on an exhaust if you want some sound out of it..then put the rest of that money away till you have a good idea on what you really want out of the car if anything....after doing research

i say this because you're 16....i know you want to be impulsive here and blow a lot of money, but without the research you're gonna waste a lot of time, and cash

well to hit around that type of power you're gonna need a good amount more then your budget...

i'm going to stick with what i first said....get an exhaust for around $300 and call it a day besides some visual goodies... after all at 16 do you really need more

225-250HP? I don't think mike's even there yet with all the shit he's done with the car

Go visual instead of internal on these cars unless you're prepared to spend a boat load of money.

What all has Mike done to his car at this point? I know he has a custom ground cam from ESG and a Windstar upper. I lost track of his progress after that

Where ever David is, I think he's in your goal range, talk to him. Wendell does have a point.. clean up the car and get the exhaust but carefully think out what you want to do later and put the money away.

If you have the time before you're driving it everyday why not do a 4.2 swap now instead of just swapping in another stock 3.8 block? You could throw a cam in and exhaust for around $1000(? Haven't looked at cam prices much)

yeah, we havent really been seeing u much either queen, was wondering if yours was running again but i'll pm u about that....the first cam was a fail, no oil pressure oil pump timing gear was backwards....they got back together and he got the works from esg....cam, heads, intake, winstar, 4.2 build, longtubes, prochamber....like i said he just dyno'd when it was way too hot....esg said he could smell mikes car after the street tune when he pulled around for the dyno room.... if the op wants 225-250 rwhp hes going to need said mods...... i agree with 6er.....he should wait and form a plan, i've wasted to much money....i bought everything to turbo, then decided to go na with nitrous, now im back to wanting to go turbo again but i only have the turbo, i sold the bov, wastegate, injectors, and maf....so here i go again....OP keep your car, give it nice exhaust....and think really hard about your plans for it....modding is expensive and addictive...the above listed is more than 1000 dollars, way more....however turbo, nitrous, and supercharger can give you way more than you need, so just think it through....

BTW when i decided to go na, i bought ceramic coated mac long tubes, mac shorty off road h, and flowmaster american thunder catback.....500 dollars for the longtubes and off road h that i dont need if i turbo......what a waste
