I kept mine on just as a safety measure. let's say your filter gets completely fucked somehow and theres like a huge hole in it all of a sudden (okay i have no idea how that could happen....but you never know, right?). that mesh is at least gonna filter out big particles.
And I couldn't see how removing it would add more power, it's a thin enough of a mesh, I don't think it disrupts the airflow at all. you might get like 0.1 hp by removing it, i dont know.

u can remove the mesh if your filter is that fucked then youve got bigger problems like pulling over and A) figuring out who robbed you and/or B) pulling over and figuring out who blew it up with a m80 or even c) pulling over and checking to make sure harry potter didn't abra-kadabra that shit.

lol well the way i see it is if your filter disappears for 1 your going to notice big time and it will sound different so why the hell are you driving around liek a fool? lol but i will say midgets are crafty ppl lol
