Rocker Arm Double Check
So I just want to make sure that STOCK rocker arms are fine with my cam, I don't wanna have everything together and then have to tear it all back down over rocker arms
Cam is 218/226 .5/.5 lsa 112 I've bought everything from comp cams and under the cams same page they do not have any refference to new rocker arms hence why I'm belieivng that stockers are in every way shape and form fine Comfirm/deny? Thank you

Im still running stock rocker arms
Ran that cam well w/ 108 lsa first time around and my custom cam now is on stock rockers. I will give you one hint, if you read my cam thread you'll know that my rocker arm bolt backed off the first go around and thats what lead to my build. USE A THREAD LOCKER !!!!! I followed my Chilton's steps to tq specs and what not and added a medium strength thread locker to the bolts to keep them planted !!! The first time around I had one back off and that caused the problem. Dont worry about the locker, I used medium strength and they popped out just fine w/ a 1/2'' drive ratchet. No heat needed. |

lol what springs are you using ?
I have 915's I think and they fit just fine. Even had the LS springs on the first go around and it fit just fine. but remember the springs wont be any taller then the valve stem and retainers allow it ![]() Thats why you gotta compress the springs to get them on. |

i compressed to get em on but when i out the keepers in and let the spring decropmpess theres only a smal part of the valve stem thats is higher then the keepers and the retainers meaning its almost a flat surface at the retainer which worries me with the lifters
and according to what i know theres behive springs...greenmustangs00 parts im using

I just used the medium strength from Orielly's
And be sure to check for valve lash and measure out PR's if needed. Dont want slack or one to hold a valve open
