Do the people that recommend this actually have knowledge, or are we playing the telephone game that the guy you heard it from, heard it from another guy, who heard it from another. Too many people out there use urethane bushings for them to be a bad thing...

Three pages in and no one's brought up alignment specs
![]() OP, that's one of the first things I'd do - CC plates and proper performance alignment. The Mustang front suspension has crap geometry, particularly where it comes to dynamic camber gain. You can do a LOT to offset that by adding caster. I would start by going to -1.5 degrees Camber, max out your caster (you want at least 4 degrees), and go to 0 toe.

The suspension bind with the UCAs happens in slalom-type movements, where you load the suspension on one side and then quickly shift it to the other, especially if you then try to quickly shift it back. It's not a frequent motion in street driving outside of evasive maneuvers, but it happens on just about every autocross course I've ever seen. Personally, I'd never run poly because if I'm spending the money to upgrade, I'd rather just get a spherical bushing and be done with it.

I don't run slalom, but I do a lot of road courses and never have an issue.

My experience with road-courses is that they don't need nearly as aggressive of a setup as an AX car does. It's those fast transitions where I ran into problems with my 4-link (that and trail braking).

I should have specified, I meant Steeda's spherical uppers not their polys, if I were to get poly upper they would be J&M's because of their poly ball bushing, but I'd rather get the spherical uppers.

Just keep an eye on ur upper torque boxes so they don't get destroyed.
