To far for me... Im in south MS. Plus the engine is at 119k miles. If I get a new engine, I want it under 100k.

Exactly ... I took that check valve out and used that hose to pressure up the cyl to change the valve springs my first go around w/ a cam ...

I dont believe this compression test is a big deal so far. Lets make 100% its going correctly before you pour oil in and stuff.

Pictures please. You've talked about them but I see non, makes it harder to work w/ w/o seeing whats going on and hands on. Need more to work with here so see what you can do as far as pictures.

Oil/Carbon build up in the runners is normal. I pulled my shit and the shit was caked in there @ 50k miles. Sticky nasty shit. Comes out well with a bit of scrubbing and B12 Cleans it right up.

But anyways.

Some stuff you might want to read about:

I mean the general problem fuck the filter lol

Yes, it's pretty involved. At the very least you would hone the cylinders and replace the rings.

Some of the cheaper ones don't have the check valve.

Right now the car is all together and running. The only indications that there is an issue is the car seems to hesitate or stall sometimes while driving. It also idles unusally high, and the large amounts of oil in the plugs.

Like I said... I am simply going to take it to a shop when I get the funds, and have them check it all out and see what they suggest.

My car is a 2003, so the artical about the filter does not really apply since I have the new baffle. However, I will look into adding that filter on the PCV just in case.

As for cleaning the upper intake... what can I use for that? B12? What is that and where can I get it?

It's a vitamin... you get it at Wal-Mart. Just crunch it up and toss some in. Cures everything. Even takes weed out of your pee...

Lol, it's just chemtool. You can get it at any auto parts store. It comes either as a spray or as a gallon bucket. What I normally do is take a 2x4 and drill holes to match the throttle body opening. Attach the wood to the throttle body opening and tighten the bolts down. Seal it off with RTV and let it cure a little. Then pour in the b12 to the runners and let it soak. Then get one of those bottle cleaners (baby bottles) and start scrubbing.

I put it all back together, and its running really rough now. Acts like it is either not getting fuel or air. I installed a new CAI also.

Gonna re-check all the plugs and make sure they are all installed good. They all tightened down however, so doubt thats it.

I tried it without the new CAI, same thing. Added about 1/4 tank of fuel... same thing. I'm really getting tired of dealing with this.

Check your plugs/wires, any electrical connections you unpluged, and for vacuum leaks.

Ya... Just gonna take all the plugs out (like the 7th time) and reinstall them. Only things I disconnected was the coil plug and the fuel pump cut off thing in the trunk.

I checked my wires as well, all are hooked up in the right order.
