your car only takes one cam ... if you search it right you'll find the cam options for a V6

hp = horse power cam? high proformance ?
further more it doednt matter what year the v6....as long as it a 94-04. because our cars are OHV NOT OHC so in english you need one cam and for the 05-10 v6s youd need 2

as long as it's a 3.8L, any cam will work. Check out Comp Cams, Crower Cams, ESG (local member), SSMS, any of these can get you some good specs on the cam for your application.

hp series are for modular engines. Although a cam will wake you car up quite a bit.

LOL why don't you get the hell out of my thread if you have nothing to offer Mikey
I know what google is, I've read up alot on this but you still like to get user preference and experiences with it here, it's better than some write up of a site most likely endorsing a product. |

I still don't see a question?
- Will a cam increase power (yes) - Will it be drastic on your single port (not drastic) - If you have the heads and intakes ported (then worth it)

Haha mikey rofl.....mike don't take that
Basic info more lifft more duration that valve is open is a lot more air getting inot cyl equals more power The most comon form of a cam is numbers around these 218/226 .5/.5 lsa 108 that's the same cam on ssm, comp cam has the same thing but lsa is 112 certain blow cams usually have a slightly longer duration th biges lift on our sixers I've sen is .545 but mabey more idk....and for cam you have to tear down most of your engine

Look I get it, I know how to use a computer. But no need to come into a thread and hijack it because you know more or have 2 cents minus any help. It just makes you look bad. But no offense either way. You're all good guys.
Thanks for all the help |

just call up the major companies, tell them your plans, and they will recommend a grind and give you a price...
your cam selection all depends on your goals. Better to build a cam around your car, not build your car around your cam.
