Exhaust System for my 6er

Im goin to keep my stock manifold all the way down to the cats, cutoff the Y-pipe, throw up a H-pipe, go true dual with 2.25" pipes (every shop out here says 2.5" is too big for a 6er

), offset thrush-welded muffs, and 3" Magnaflow rolled-tips!

All for about......... $335.55

Sweet sounds good man, 2.25 is the stock diameter and unless ur gona do any serious performance mods works great for you

yeaa but i kno if u guys can do 2.5" i can too!! i will probably in a year or two... supercharge tht baby!

Congrats man, don't worry about the 2.5 inch piping, some of us are planning more extensive mods thus why we did it. 2.25 will ensure you don't have any adverse effects from the exhaust ie loss of torque

I bought my own flowmaster 40's and and got mandrel bent high quality divorced duals from a guy that's been doing it forever for $212.00

Wow! I must have the worst mechanics in the area. I got like 3 estimates for dual exhaust from the cats back between $650 - $800 for my car. I must have a face that these guys look for when I walk through the door.

They look at me and think - "I see the guy I want to over price today" lol

It's all debatable, but the consensus and (my opinion after having them and listening to 44's) is the 40's sound meaner in dual config on a six.

Or they might just be including buying the mufflers (flowmaster, etc) or they're own fabbed mufflers.
