2 cats or no cats?

Opinions? Thinking about having the rears lopped off and straight piped, but in a debate on having the front ones removed.

Current set-up is stock manifolds, stock mid-pipe with H adapter, and Borla ProXS Muffers. Sounds good inside the car, but really quiet outside the car until you are at WOT. Doesn't ever get raspy though which is what I like. Get complements from other V6 owners and even some GT.

Have never run catless on any of my cars. I know taking off the rears will open it up some, but when it comes to the front, should I keep the stockers, switch to hi-flows, or delete them all together?

Delete Cats.
My First setup - Mac Longtube Headers - Hi-flow cats by magnaflow - Flowmaster 40 mufflers, dualed
My Second Setup - Mac Longtube Headers - No Cats - Flowmaster 40 mufflers, dualed

I'm a fan of the second setup now that i know what it sounded like in person on my own car.

yea I want longtubes. Main reason I was to just delete mine and not get a new H-Pipe or invest in high flow cats. May just do the rears to start, and if it's still pretty quiet I'll do the fronts.

Longtubes and be done with it. don't bother wasting your time lopping off cats, just get longtubes and the matching o/r H.

you get what you pay for a lot of times...if you want to just hear an o/r h pipe on stock manifolds look for Marks red v6 in the exhaust clip section..

yeah mrksd3 has the front cats on rears off

just so you know with loud chambered mufflers a catless setup is going to be loud. as fuck. i have no experience with hi flow cats but i know theyre an additional 80-200 a pair before install, all that shit adds up quick

if you really want sound improvement get a lumpy cam
