engine question

So I finally got the car back together and started it up with the new cam in it and it dles a little rough but I assume because its not tuned...also when the hood was up we noticed the engine was ...idk how to discribe but it was rocking from side to side but its wasn't bouncing it was a just enough to cuase some concern and yes the engine is bolted to the engine mounts properly qand tight enought....is that just the cam...it being untuned or??

yes the cam will shake the engine more than the stock cam did, its normal

The idle (remember my car is not tuned at the moment) is it safe to drive?
The idle is 90% consistant on its lopy idle but every now and again it bogs or it shakes the car a little infact it shakes tthe car a little little little bit now and it pings a little under accel but we know its cuz its not tuned

mine was ok.

BUT ill say this, the first cam I put it, I drove for 200+ miles before the rocker arm backed off ...

Would have sucked to have gotten it tuned then bam ... shit blow up lol

ive got over 1000 miles on mine un tuned

however it was put on the dyno to check things out but no tuning was done

Like I said, it's just a minor timing issue from not being tuned. Stay out of WOT and you will be fine.

worst case it's a worn motor mount.

the shaking is normal.

and the timing is off, if you have a handheld tuner i would add maybe 2 degrees of timing, see if that helps

My car cannot be driven on the stock tune, it bogs so hard at low rpm i have to floor the pedal or it stall. also it backfires like crazy.

Get a $50 email tune and youll be set
