BBK Throttle Body


Has anyone put the BBK throttle body onto their V6? I have a 2001.

BBK : 2001-2004 Mustang 3.8L V6 65mm Throttle Bodies

Do not put a throttle body on your six, it's basically a $250 paper weight on our 3.8s. Throttlebodies only helps with more extensive mods done and even then the gain is minimal

The rear axle feels a little sloppy like it has a bit of side-to-side movement in it. Nothing major or dangerous, just like it could use an upgrade. I will do the lowers eventually too.

why not get the 65mm TB for 30$ instead of whatever BBK charges ?

I think mikes talking about the modified gt throttlebody that's offered with the VAP Windstar kit, I do not know though if you can simply buy the the TB by itself

Yes I am, and the only reason you might need it is with that intake. I wouldn't fuck with it on the stock intake. Not w/o doing a crazy port n weld job on it.
