HELP NEEDED ASAP 2001 MUSTANG V6 TRANNY IN A 2000


HEY GUYS I HAVE A 2000 V6 MUSTANG AND MY TRANNY MESSED UP I CAN GET A TRANNY FROM A 2001 BUT DONT KNOW IF IT WILL FIT ARE THEY THE SAME AND IF NOT WHAT OTHER CARS HAVE THE SAME TRANNYS

Yes.. there exactly the same.. As long as its comming off a V-6, any tranny safetly from 96 to 04 will fit into your car.. Trust me, I have completely rebuilt my tranny, and have done many hours of research and gained numourous amounts of knowledge on this subject.

WHAT KIND OF TRANSMISSION IS THIS IT HAS RF-F3LP-7A040-AA BASIC 9 ON THE BACK OF TRANNY AND 90 UP ON TOP

Easy on the caps killer. But anyways some transmissions would have a tag on them... I think from 00-04 have a different transmission connector on it. So take the connectors with it and bellhousing bolt pattern would be different if it were a V8. Plus you'd have a different starter bolt pattern aswell. Most V6's have 2 bolts on the starter.

sorry caps lock on same nothing wrong with that do they have a number on top that i got to look for

so I have a mustang 2001 gt tranny here do they sell a bellhousing for it to be able to bolt on to a mustang v6 its an automatic

I see V6 engines and tranny's on craigslist all the time for like 400ish. Im sure you could get just the tranny for cheap.
