For the swap if going carbed you need to treat it just like a 302 swap. Your going to need oil pan, exhaust manifolds/ headers, intake, carb, distributor, water pump, fuel pump and a few other items. You will need to pay attention to engine balance so you pick up the right harmonic balancer and flywheel/flexplate. Your starter, motor mounts, and some gauges may be use able. Those are details that depend on other details of your build. You can wait on upgrading your brakes and suspension. Your nose will become heavier and front end will sag closer to ground. Braking will be slower and ride will change also. Something to help keep the brake booster vacuum up may be needed depending on engine vacuum that will be dependent on build also.
