Unless you lower the car, 17s are going to look sort of small no matter how you paint them. 18s even looked a little small on my old V6 with the stock stance.

yea i thought about lower it but really cant afford isprings right now..im putting a new clutch, ball joints, and new lower controll arm next week. i noticed standing behind my six today listening to it idle i noticed my driver side pipe made like a hiccup noise. about every three to four secs. do you now what could cause that? P.s did it hurt your card to do that? do you feel every bump and crack in the road?

Anytime you lower your car it's gona effect ride quality, however it's not big of a difference unless you decide to slam it (lower more than about 1.5 inches). But no it did not hurt my car, but you will however want to look into getting some new struts/shocks as the stock ones cant handle a lower ride.

As for the hiccup mine does it too actually, never really thought anything of it

This resistor lowers the voltage that the ECM sees, so it thinks the air coming in is cooler than it actually is. This makes the ECM advance timing and throw more fuel in it than it should. Most of this is a waste, and can either cause your car to ping or waste fuel if too agressive. Even if it's perfectly done you won't see a noticeable gain.

Worse still, because your ECM is constantly monitoring the exhaust, if the resistor is too agressive it will cause it to go rich, the ECM will realize the IAT is out of calibration and it will throw a CEL.

So in short, bad idea.
Really?? I actually bought it to save on gas, the guy said it was suppose to save on gas. heres what he said it was
In all motor vehicles from the late 80's to the present time, engines run on fuel injection systems instead of the outdated carburetor systems from the 60's and 70's. With the new fuel injection systems, we noticed a common problem among all vehicles with fuel injected systems. The Fuel system runs too rich from the factory. Our module will automatically tune your vehicles Air/Fuel Ratio Mixture to run at stoichometric levels. This in return will help you to save more fuel and since your vehicle will be tuned, you will gain horsepower while saving fuel! Since our module is inexpensive, it will pay for itself in the first week due to these high fuel savings! The best part is, you will not need a mechanic to complete the installation. With our easy to read, step by step installation instructions you will be able to complete the installation in 5-10 minutes at the very most! In fact, the installation is so simple, you will not even need any prior car experience to install our module.

Yea....no total bs, putting a resistor to your IAT sensor isnt a "tune"... You gota remember he's trying to convince you to buy it by giving you some bs explanation because he is assuming your ignorant/naive enough to to fall for it (as a vast majority of people are not really knowledgeable with cars)

Umm, your car automatically seeks stoich, that's why we have HOS's. Do you think in a time when we have federally mandated fuel milage requirements that auto companies would allow cars to run excessively rich? The answer is no. They want to lean that baby out as much as possible. This guy is feeding you a line of

His "chip" is doing the opposite of what I expected. It's basically a resistor changing the signal to make the car think that there's less air going in, so the car dumps in less fuel. This is dangerous, and can lead to detonation. If you really want to save time and money and achieve the same effect, give your car a vacuum leak. It's free, and is doing the exact same thing.

Plus even if his works, your car will be running excessively lean, will get very hot, possibly stall, and will most likely throw a CEL, because your HOS's realize that you're running lean. Garbage.

If you really want to improve fuel milage for that money, make yourself a meth injection kit. That will safely drop IAT's and increase octane so you can increase timing and decrease fueling, saving fuel.

Don't install it. If you have installed it, remove it. Simple as that.

You'd be FAR better off just getting your money back. But you'll find that out soon enough.
