MagnaFlow Exhaust

Hi everyone, I recently bought a '99 V6 convertible, and thought this would be the best site to look at for answers. You all seem to know your stuff! I was looking a mods and I thought a dual exhaust would be a good place to start. After searching around I think I found what I'd like to get.

It's the MagnaFlow Ford Mustang Cat-Back Exhaust System. Dual exhaust with 2.5" tubing and 3" tips. The site wouldn't let me post the link to it since this is my first post.

What do you guys think of MagnaFlow? Is it good or bad as far as sound and performance go? Is there anything else I would be to get to complete the system other than what's included?

Thanks for your help!

I would say go to a shop tell em u want true duals catted with flowmaster 44s it should be between the 400-500 price range

or get l.t headers (long tubes) and true duals uncatted with 44s it will sound loud and badass

other thing Sound is personal opinion if u like magna go with em it's ur choice but the above would be mine

You can't really compare muffler sounds on an 8 and a 6...they sound way too different...and to the ts get LT headers an off road H pipe and the magnaflow catback if that is what you like, but I would recomend a chambered muffler

well i know they will not sound the same but according to flowmaster they replaced the 40 with 44 they say is more deeper and agresive tone i heard em and its true on a v8

on a v6 u may also see some agresive and deeper tone maybe not soo loud cause u know we r 6 and have even firing... but then there has to be a change in tone IMO

I dont whant to figth or be a dick i just statng my opinion
