WONT START
Heres is the story:
Car was really low on gas, no low fuel light yet. I pull into my local gas station (Murphys) put 25.01 in. start the car and immediately it feels like an earthquake. I'm thinking it will subside so i wait a min. It doesnt. i start to pull out and things get a little by but not by much. I'm about to get on the main road when i think to myself it will be better to go the back way, no traffic. i turn the car around and right when i do It Dies. ![]() I get it towed back to my house and am going to try a few things tomorrow. Heres what i think. Bad gas - pumping out the tank, relieve the fuel in the lines via the front fuel rail, changing the fuel filter, adding premium gas and a fuel injector cleaner and then will start it. your opinions? |

Maybe if you had dirt sitting at the bottom of you gas tank the refill you stir it up and when you start your car it clogged the filter? I couldnt imagine gas was that bad at the station

If you ran right out it could have sucked up sediment from the bottom of the tank

I will be changing the fuel filter today, do you think i should drain the tank too or just do the filter first?

If the filter really is messed up because of dirt in the tank it might need to be dropped. Do one thing at a time

I checked the code but cant comprehend what the fuel pump driver module is, is it referencing the Inertia switch or CCRM.

When you turn the key (don't start just put in accessory), can you hear the fuel pump prime? Fuel pump may be out, google has shown this on numerous occasions.

Have you checked the inertia switch? It could have tripped somehow.

Inertia switch was not tripped but i did reset it anyway to see. nothing changed. I can hear a noise when it goes into accessory but doesnt sound like the normal fuel pump noise you hear. I am waiting for my GF to get home to turn the key while im under the back, hoping i can more/better.

this. My initial thought is that your fuel pump went out.

I think its the CCRM or the control Module thats in the Passenger front fender well. I hear it clicking when ever i go into Accessory. still not sure if i hear the fuel pump. Going to order the part now and have it go to my local autozone.
