exhuast options (vote)

well got my stuff in fr my taxes going to file them soon, as some of you know i had to chop my tail pipes off right after my muffler off due to monroe not installing/bending the tail pipes imporperly.

so right now all i have as my set up is stock heads divorced duals and flow 40s with open end mufflers...no turn down tips....(they wont fit....due to the way we cut the pipe off..)

so vote.... i know its my car my option but im willing, if the vote is leaning toward one over the other two ill try somthing different, sorta...

Well I don't wanna shell out 300 for a brand new pc then pay a shop a couple hrs to fab the prochamber and other exhuast

How about you custom fab some crazy shit

Change the firing order of the exhaust up, run divorced to 40s and see what happens.

buy some long tubes, cut off the collector, cross these two pips like this and weld a new collector:

I know I won't find one tht wil fit I know u got to fab it up...I meant new vs new pc...I saw a few on the forums and craigs list....like 100-150 bucks...thts when ill jump at it...but for now I'm torn between flow 10s/40 divorced duals....

mike GTFO with that crazy exhaust setup haha. That wouldn't work anyway the tranny is in the way.

Someone should figure out a way to make unequal length headers though, imo.

Try the Flow 10s, not too many sixxers have them and then ones that i have heard sound pretty good

Well I just found out thar in order for the shop I wanna have finish my exhuast would have to cut off my existing flow 40s be cuase when my co worker used torches to cut my tail pipes orr even thought he cut close as possible to the end/exit of the mufflers he cut so that at the end of both mufflers the pipe tht was left is starting to bend up ward...hence y I couldn't put turn down tips on...so in order to finish id have to have them cut the muffler off...so I think I miles well just get flow 10s and have them fab tht up with tail pipes....and when I get my taxes back if I have enought $ ill shop for a pc

Run a flow 10 and a flow 40, and run them divorced, put the flow 10 up where the cats would be and the 40 in the normal spot...

I'm not kidding either.

But thts just making a 3 chamber set up...it will pass threw a one chamber then a two chamber....aka 3 chamber tech if u add the number of chamber

flow 10 on 1 pipe, a flow 40 on the other. I heard a gt that was running that set up...needless to say i was very impressed. Do it

Also were even firing and gts r odd firing...so it makes sence cuz exhuast will be going threw both but on a six only 3 r going directly to the 10 and 3 to the 40....tht would sound good on a six lol....f it I'm doing flow 10s....
