Is it performing different? Just my honest opinion, but until something feels different, then I would consider switching.. But if everything seems hunky dory and nothing different, wouldnt see why you would need to change.
...but to be safe, you can. Id also rather be safe than sorry. =]

Go for it. In that case, if it acts different, then go back to what you originally used.

maybe step up to 15 - 40. or the grand daddy of them all 20 - 50.
in FL there is no point using anything less than 15 - 40 except that it says it on the oil cap. what's going to be important is that you don't do any of that Lucas crap. i can get into the explination as to why but instead why not go here www.bobistheoilguy.com Bob will tell you why not to. 5 - 30 would actually be thiner. btw

if you read the site there is a reason not to use it.
oil is created with an ammount of anti-oxygenating properties (anti-bubble) when you add the lucas the ammount of liquid to anti-bubbles is changed and more bubbles are created... more bubbles makes more air, more air means less lube less lube means more heat, so on and so forth. high mileage stuff really doesn't make much of a difference, it just means they use different detergents in the oil. the key is to keep using the type of oil you have always used, and change it every 3 - 5K depending on driving style, i don't care if the oil is good for 15K, your car doesn't like it in there that long. you really want to extend the life of your motor add an oil cooler. just my .02
