ONE BOLT!
currently am doing a clutch job on my car w/ 150000mi on it, needless to say everything sucks to get off. i have the entire exhaust off and the tranny out. im down to the bell housing and got every bolt out except the top right one. it keeps turning off the socket (coming from underneath on a lift with an extension a swivel) the socket sits on the bolt but will turn off as soon as torque is added, i believe because the slight angle from the swivel.the engine is lifted in the front via jack for a better backside angel. we tried air tools, torque bars, pipes on torque bars...seemingly everything. can anyone give me some better insight, ideas, or last resorts?

If the upper intake manifold is removed that bolt can be reached from the top. I have used a wrench and length of pipe. I think it would be possible to get a socket on it. Use a 6 point socket.

I use the Snap-On Impact Swivel Sockets. Instead of pinned-block connections like standard swivels, it uses a ball-joint socket permanently attached to a socket that doesn't bind and throw your socket off at tough angles. They are pretty expensive at about $30 a piece, but they are a lifesaver.

I managed to get it off from underneath with diff. combos of extensions and sockets. PB blaster or something similar to try and loosen it up, but just going to take elbow grease and a little bit of luck unless you attack it from up top which is a whole 'nother list of things to remove.
