Take some everyday household vinegar and put it on a cloth and then apply. It takes waterspots right off without any pressure. Just wipe it off with water to be safe right after and then re-wax the affected areas. Works amazing on windows too of course.

never heard of that one actually.....

clay bar does remove imperfections in the paint or "fall-out" but think of water spots as "fall-out"

and whatever you do follow the instructions....

check my detailing post...

i didn't write it, but it's the best i've read

the best way to get waterspots off is to buff it. i had the worst case of hard wateron one side of my car because my sprinkers spit out this nasty combination of minerals and reclaimed waste water. i tryed many claybars and the one that worked the best was turtle's liquid clay bar, but that just took off all contaminents except the water spots....go to wally world and in the auto section there is a buffin attachment that goes on a drill...its a soft red ball....the ball is great because its easy to maneuver on mustangs with all the rolls and rounded body...it allows you to get everywhere...so get that and some tutle wax polish . rub the polish on the spots and they will come off, or for big areas dampen the buffing ball and go to town after rubbing the polish over the desired area...gives you paint that looks brand new

a bar of clay...

...lol, but seriously, you use it to get all the excess dirt and dust off your car before you wash and wax it
