Supercharged engine

My current 1997 v6 3.8l stock oem engine has about 150K miles on it and i am paitently waiting for it to just give up on me.

I am currently saving up to buy a remanufactured or new v6 3.8l engine for it. I have seen in the past where they sell v6 engines alright set up with superchargers like this one

1994-2000 Ford Mustang V6 3.8L Supercharging Systems | Vortech Superchargers

but of course its discontinued xD

does anyone know of any other sites that have them available. or would you guys just recommend buying a new or remanufactured engine and just purchasing a separate Supercharger down the road.

^^^ That's not a whole engine with the SC installed on it - it's only the SC system.

This is not to be taken as in isult....before you go swaping somthing as serious and main stream as in this is the heart of your car do some reading...I learned tht the hard way....cam..

But you have a few options
Find a crashed thunder coupe/bird w/e I call em two diff things...they come with the same 3.8 kinda...its the same blokc but the bottom end is forged heads have more coolant ports and what not...and it already comes supercharged I think at 12psi....

Sence you waiting for ur current engine to die...I say find a complet super coupe engine pull it...put it on an engine stand pull it aprt clean it throw a blower cam in it and then throw it in your car...

Or you can take time to gather all the super charger parts lol

Seems pretty easy to chose.....cough cough first one...
You can take your time rebuilding the engiine on the stand sence you still have your car to beat around in

If your not going forged, just pick up a low mile 4.2L short block and put the vortech on that.
