i have a 96 3.8 mustang. i have been through alot with this car over the past month. finally got it runnign better but still have an issue. runs great when cold even runs ok when first warms up but once i gets hot and i drive it about 15 when warm she wants to run rough check engine light flashes ans pops a code for misfire #4 cylinder ever time. plugs and wire are new. also wants to stall and is hard to crank back up when it does this and smell like gas bad. need help.

i have changed alot on this car cam, crank sensor. fuel pump, filter, TPS, MaF
also have changed computers and still same issue. o2 sensor.

car has flow exhaust, cold air intake.

Try cleaning your IAT, Air Filter, Take a look at the Spark plug after it happens a few times, That could Diagnose the whole problem. Hopefully its nothing too bad, Check the Color of your oil, If it is Milky or Very bubbley, You might want to start saving alittle money..

Try to get a friend with a code reader to check it for you because with some programs like the one I use, I can Pinpoint exactally what and how my car was running when the code appeared

yeah oil is ok so not head gaskets. i know it needs valve cover gaskets but i did notice right before it starts to run rough i can hear what sounds like the rocker arms, i know these motors are bad about rocker arms getting loose. and i finally got a code to pop up beside miss fire #4 code. i got a p1150 code. so it may be the injector causing some of this issue.

well i may have a small exhaust leak near the passenger side o2. but still have miss fire #4.
