Well, i found an 04 V6. Sonic Blue with charcol interior. its a 5 speed with around 65,000 miles. what should i look for when i go to check it out? im a complete noob, sorry.

get a car fax first off.
look for frame damage.
take some one that has boughten a car or 3 with you.
remember... you are in charge of the sale. not the salesmen.

for the price of an 04 v6 you could buy an 01 GT ya know.

ok you need to take it for a test drive for starters check if theres any stumbles noises ect...and look under the hood and check all the fluids injectors...the interior if its in good condition the windows gauges...and check your tires shocks and anything else you can think of...do what i do try to find something wrong with it..and if you dont then its a good buy

yea, one of my best friends dad is a mechanic, i wanna take him with me so he can help me out. cause i really dont know what im looking for. its my first car.

9k is a hell of a deal for an 04 with that many miles.

or they will try and sell it to you for the price on the window.

it's an internet baiting game dealerships play.
once your in the dealership they can usually talk you into that price.

+1 on that...my gf wanted to get a intrepid and we found one on the internet and we went to the dealership and when we got there the one that was on the internet wasnt the one they were selling...the one they were selling was a pos that wouldnt even start..

if they refuse to sell it for that price tell them your talking to the BBB and walk out.

see how fast they will sell it to you for that price

yea, but this place is the ford dealer ship, its not some sketchy place. im going to do what you said. but i dont even know if i wanna buy the car yet. it might be bad. what EXACTLY should i look for when searching.

look at all the body lines.. make sure they line up.

drive the car... better have you Mechanic frien drive the car and inspect it.

that IS his job ya know
