Transmission question

Do the 96 and 2000 v6 share a tranny I found one ror 100 dollars and I need a new housing

Yes, they both have the T5. The only 2000 mustang with a dif tranny would be the cobra. That have the t56. But, you could even make that work.

the t-56 didn't start in the Cobra until 2003.

every one be calling it the AODE but its really considered the 4R70W every time i look in a ford service manual its called the 4R70W not the AODE.

the t-56 is only in the terminator, and the gt-500 and KR as far as i know...idk if the gt-500 even coems with the t-56

i refer to them as the second gear slip and slide cuz they always ALWAYS get 2nd gear problems when there is a tranny issue lol
