Sluggish?

Okay the other day. I was going interstate. I was going about 80 for about 20miles. Got off and was on side roads. I was going 40 and slightly going uphill. So i decide i want to speed up a little. And my push the gas and nothing happens... So i push it about 85% and it finally goes. Is it the heat or what?

I get the same problem on occasion. Everytime it does it, its when its running hot and the humidity is up. I dont know if its just coincidence but I noticed it happens only when the engine is been running a while in the heat

I hate rust. I havent had a car in years with visible rust. They make metal and clearcoats better now I guess than they used to.

Another problem I have from the heat here is in the seals. I have a vert and I swear the heat of the day and the cool nights causes the seals to go to shit quicker than up north.

I have done all the little things to keep the engine as cool as I can. I know alot of people dont like it, but Im going to try the thermal wrap thing here soon. Its cheap, and if its done right, it wont cause your manifold to disinigrate. I'd like to get a vented hood. Just to let some of the engine heat out would help I think.
