He said this about my mustang because i Said mine was an automatic

HIS WORDS"or gear ratio that a standard has sorry u got a 3 speed with overdrive thats only 4 gears and there tall gears takes longer to shift and more power to spin the gears u could get a kit to give it smaller gears then u sacrifice top speed or u can just beef the hell out of the motor to get what u want but it wont happen cause its a ford v6 and the only thing worth doin to that car is buy a 302 5.0L and trany build it up then get a new drive shaft and rear end from a f150 van their 9in rear ends and hooker headers with straight pipes it will cost a good 3000 or maybe 6000 bepending on what u do to the motor but then u can say u got a mustang sorry to put it like that but people said the same to me when i had a mustang 89 foxbox"

an auto tranny is the best for the tract with upgrades done to it anyway.

an auto is best for drag racing. Straight line performance, and heavy traffic. high horsepower dragsters use an auto tranny. He doesn't know what he is talking about completely. He knows some things, but a lot of it he doesn't.

If they make a shift kit for your car buy one thats all I gotta say. Your friend is a dumbass who knows nothing about your engine and its capabilities. It would cost way too much money/time to drop in a v8. What kind of car does he drive? I'll let you know what you need if anything to shut his ass up. O and funner is not a word its more fun :]

Agreed no room to talk but to you who like autos for 1 there not more efficient and yes with a shift kit they do shift faster than a stock manual transmission but a short throw and some one that knows how to drive with destroy an auto anyday

I dont care how much you know about cars or anything for that matter. He needs to go back to the second grade and study punctuation. Even if he had a decent idea or opinion, you can't follow it with his poor communication skills. Instead of being schooled about cars, he needs to be taught what a period is... and I'm not talking about the kind his imaginary girlfriend from Canada has.
