Bomz CAI Added Nuthing But A Dog Now


HEY FELLAS I DID A RECENT BOMZ CAI AND NOTICED A MAJOR LOSS IN POWER THE ONLY THING I DIDNT ADD WAS THE SCREEN IN W/ THE MAF .
BEFORE THE CAR WAS STOCK W/ A K&N FLITER W/ THE AIR SNOOT REMOVED ALSO HAVE A DIABLO DELTA CHIP INSTALLED .THE CAR IS A MANUAL V6 ANY IDEAS ?? IS IT THE SCREEN READY TO PUT THE STOCKER BACK ON

Don't expect any gains/losses in performance with a CAI. Make sure you hooked everything up correctly.

nope no engine light or service light i think my delta chip would permit the light from comming on im gonna go throw the screen on it might have to mill it sum if that doesnt work im gonna throw the stocker w/ the k&n back on it

re-check to make sure your re-attached the air temp sensor, should be a small hole on the underside. also you can try resetting your pcm by disconnecting your neg. terminal on your battery for several minutes then re-attach, however you will have to reprogram the presets in your radio.

air temp is all good installed the screen it helped a tiny bit im gonna reset the ecu but i dont think its gonna matter because the tune on my chip

this is weird put the stocker back on it helped sum may be the ait temp sensor got messed up wouldnt that give u a light humm weird ill unplug it tommrow and try it if theirs no difrence its gotta be bad

I left the MAF screen out of my intake tract when installing mine. I have had no ill effects. What ended up curing your dilemma?

i put the stocker back on it and reset the ecu disconected the cable fer about 20 minutes i would like to run the cai but man what a power loss only thing i can think of is my K&N filter in the stocker is bigger and allows more air flow i get that grrrrrr sound out of the cai like its fighting for air does any one else have a bomz cai ???? have any problems

gotta a trac loc so thats tommrows project hope that goes much better heres sum thing weird i went on a trip about 600 miles noticed stinky ass 80/90 was comming out of my pinion seal .got under the car and gave the pinion a good yank no slop "good news" went to unscrew the drain plug and it was pressurized so it looks like my vent cap is pluged er sum shit

I have a Bomz CAI, and have had no adverse effects. The price was awesome, and the fittament was on cue.
