UD Pullies

Hey i'm thinking of getting some UD pullies just for a bit more power to the wheels, but I'm not sure on what to get.
Could someone explain what the difference is between these two?

http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...id=80&parent=4

what's with the 25%? I've seen others with difference percentages...what difference does that make?

and also, is it very hard to install yourself? I'm very unexperienced with cars...

the second one has two pullies, one for the crank and one for the alternator. installing UDP's isn't hard at all. i did mine in front of my house in about 2 hours. i used the march set. didn't really make a noticeable difference, but every little bit helps, right?

yeah, does it really free up 10-15 hp? that's what they say at americanmuscle.com...

and I'd want to eventually also get a tuner, that'll make the pulleys have a bit more of an effect, right?

A tuner help the car even more than it and the the pulleys do seperately? To my knowledge no it would not. With a CAI you could have the two work together if you understand what I'm getting at.

so a tuner and pullies wouldn't be beneficial to each other?
I do have a CAI and I know a tuner would make the CAI have more of an effect than it has on its own. I was guessing same thing might happen with pullies too.

Hell it could I dont honestly know. But I dont really know shit about tuners (my car being to old for that). But I would just guess that they wouldn't work together like a CAI and a tuner will. PM some one more knowlegable and all around more prominent than I and you'll most likely get a straight forward no bull shit included answer.

all "bolt on" parts will make more power. working together??? they all do seperate jobs to free up the loss the stock equipment holds back. a tuner will make the car come to life by itself as long as the tune is good. the more you have done on the car, the more a tuner will wake it up. when you start making drastic changes is when you start running into problems with parts not working with each other.

Definately get some UDP's. They are a great, inexpensive mod!
