if u get a new t.b get a port polish if u get a t.b without port and polish u will get no gains... cause as my other example.... if u have a 4ft door and 4ft ceiling then u decide to change the door to a bigger one so u change it to 7 ft but the ceiling is 4 ft whats that point of the bigger door if the ceiling is restricting..?

Do ur intake new t.b port polish change the cam new exhaust get some under drive pulleys gears 8.8 rear end a handheld tuner (SNIPER prefered) and then buy a stroker kit from morana or w.e ....

Sorry but this has been ask a lot and i will not give u good answers... p.m me or something w/e..

save up for a v-8! lol nah I know where your at man, I started with the v-6 and had the dual exhaust and cold air kit and throttle body. but honestly, if i was gonna spend the $4k to buy a supercharger, install, upgrade other components, and get a dyno tune, I would go ahead and get the v-8. youll have alot more potential for power upgrades. if you just want a little more giddie up for your buck, add a little shot of gas (a safe amount though). $600 well spent. just my opinion thoughm and i am certainly not a mechanic, just an enthusiast.

i know everyone will hate me for this, but i say screwq all the small bolt ons for your sixer right now. it may not seem expensive, but before you know it youve spent $3000 and gained 30hp, wow big deal. i say buy a 8.8" rear, 255lph fuel pump, 42lb fuel injectors, full exhaust, a tuner, and a supercharger or turbo. itll probly cost you about 2x as much but will net you about 120hp or more if you forge your engine and up the boost

your route vs mine:
your route
v8 engine $2,500 stock engine
8.8 rear end at least $500
Computer flash or new computer$100-$200
new exhaust. $1000 EASY thats being nice...unless you buy GT take offs and GT headers
sooo YaY! we got a v8 after a big headache and $4,000 spent in it.
let go have fun with it...
mods..bolt ons- $2,000+ EASY.....V8 mods are generally MORE money.
where are you now $6000 with a bolt on GT...might have 270-300rhwp with a sick tune

Lets see where Iam at after $6,000
Turbo kit-$4,500
8.8 rear -$500
fuel injectors-$360
fuel pump-$140
tune-$300
TB-$250
$6050....330rwhp with even more toque..
we race, you lose...get mad and buy
ta da da da
a stroker
$6-8k EASY
you place your bolt ons back on...got some badass heads and cam all motor your doing 400+ hp you go looking for me so you can show off....
what did i do

4.3L $4-5k full built the works...everything
with the other couple grand i saved i rebuilt my axles with 31spline....you can do that and got a new tranny. 6speed
im now tuned...650rwhp
we race...

Buy the time he saves up for a v8 + paying has car off + buys preformance parts for that He could have had a 4.2L turbo v6 that > most v8s
