where to buy....

I have been to AM and they do not carry any CAI or UDP for a 04 3.8l. I want the BBK or MAC fenderwell system and a UDP kit. Could someone let me know where. Also, for the UDP, do a need a balancer? I live in Dallas so I know I need at least billet steel because of the heat.

Congradulate me, I just got off of the phone w/Chris @ Sniper and my tuner will be here Monday 432$ delivered!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jeremy and Ethan

I just had FR 3.73 gears put in, so sorry about not wanting them. I'm not very wise in the ways of self modding, so doing one myself is out of the question. Also, the only IMP CAI I have seen comes from K&N for about 250. Can you say HELL NO! I am going with the BBK fenderwell cause I just found one for 100 plus shipping. On to the next Q. What about the UDPs for an 04 3.8?

Thanks for the replies guys

the 3 inch pvc pipe that i cut i just used my eyes to look at it and figured it out from there. you need the sleeve things, i think u need a 2-3in., 3-3, 3-2. as far as pvc ur gonna need enough straight pipe to do the main piece and a small piece to connect to the filter. then ur gonna need a 90 degree to turn from the maf to the filter in the fenderwell. from the tb to the straight i think i used a 45 degree that i cut. i used part of an old intake i had for connecting the maf to the 90 degree piece, but i think u can buy cai adapters on ebay for pretty cheap. i had a piece of aluminum that i cut and put in to cover the rest of the hole to the fenderwell. anyway its pretty much just common sense and a little creativity. then you can sand and paint the pieces however u want. if u need anything else let me know

What year is your v6? If you can get a JLT True Cold Air Intake spend the money. They are known to make the best CAI there is. If you don't plan on keeping the car n/a...then don't even get a cai unless you want to run nitrous.

Underdrive pulleys reduce the drag on your accessories. By putting a smaller pulley on your engine there is less rotational mass allowing you to take power you already have and put it to the wheels. It is beneficial if you do any setup aside from supercharging...where if you change your crank pulley you make it harder to create boost.

I plan on keeping it N/A with just bolt ons for now. My big question is if anyone has used or seen the pulley kit from rpmoutlet. Remember, I am a newbie and dont know what setup/ parts to buy. The kit they sell has a crank and water pulley w/ harmonic balancer. To me, it seems that they have done the work. Thats why I have turned to you guys, to point me in the right direction.

I do plan on putting a small system in (500w amp and 1 15" sub) nothing more. I want to do more to the car then the system. If its that bad than I can run a capacitor for the sound system.
