will a stock cobra hood fit a 01 v6? i found one really cheap at a junkyard. im asking if any years will not a specific one

now thinking of it the v6 v8 and cobra have the same chassis or w/e hood scoop and things like that will be ok

I heard that some ppl have problems in install other dont have probs i dunno on that but i think it should fit well

it will fit fine.

the only problem you might run into it a slight gap between your headlights and the hood (about an inch) if you pick up an 03-04 Cobra hood

i dont think it was an 03-04 im pretty sure it was an 00-01

the 01 cobra hood is no different then the stock 99-04 V6 hoods with the vent in the front nor the weight...if you have a Hood scoop on your V6 then thats different...if u dont u have a stock 01 cobra hood on your V6 already

the v6 hood "scoop" faces the oppisite direction

yeah thats right the vent in the 01 is out...my fault then its the 99-01 cobra hood is same as the 99-00 V6

i knew there was something different about the 01 ...just couldnt think of it....but i have a cobra r hood so it doesnt matter lol...soon to change again for another hood so hopefully i can get some money for it

yeah i was gona post that but i was like lol let me not...but obviously we were on the same page...it eats the larger number...but when not using numbers... the object such as the 03 cobra hood is behind the pointer < which eats all others < all hoods
