car weight?


how much does a 2000 v6 mustang weigh?
i heard it was 3800 but on the sticker inside the door panel is 4400?

anyone know

I took mine to the truck stop to one of those big truck scales
according to them the car was 3112LB
if it is accurate or not ..I dont know

truck scales are extremely accurate, my family owns a trucking company here in cali. the have a guaranteed accuracy at most scales because drivers rely on those to see if they are over weight and what axel the weight needs to be shifted over so they dont get a ticket when they go over the actual scales run by CHP. so if you went over the right way then that is an accurate weight

the performance is off on that page..
1/4 is off by almost a full second
0-60 is off by over a second if they mean 7flat

How is it off by a full second? Maybe a few tenths but theres no reason why you shouldnt be in the 15's

16 flat to 15.9 with a well driven edge(at a decent elevation) isn't hard to believe
