Chips and handheld tuners are usually worth a solid 10 - 15 horsepower through the whole RPM band, only downside is the need to run premium fuel. If you have an automatic, chips / tuners are even more helpful due to the ability to adjust shift points, etc. Also, their useful to adjust the speedometer for gear changes (auto's only for your year).

As for the exhaust, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a catback I'd think.

with the v6 catbacks most are utilizing the stock y-pipe, unless you plan on going o/r or getting a new catted h or x pipe for true duals.

spintech also sells v6 exhaust

A cheaper way to get power out of exhaust is to install Long Tube Headers and just bolt on a muffler and dump it before the rear end assy.

The V6 has a Y pipe, so the flow gained in a cat back is not as much as gained from headers or even a mid pipe (H or X).

MAC, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Spintech, and a few others do make cat backs for your car. Check out www.ninosport.com for the selection, and let us know your budget and emissions situation and we can pick you out the best exhaust for your application.

I put dual exhaust on my V6 for $300. I got some 2004 Mach1 catback take offs for $150, brackets for $40 and $110 to install. I had the shop cut my Y-pipe just after the 2nd cats and install pipes from the cats to the cat backs. I also had them install factory flangs to connect to the cat backs. By the way it will sound like a V6. Think of it this way a good exhaust is one of the few things that will increase performance and fuel economy.

It will sound halfway between a Civic and a Cobra. With my setup, I sound like a stock GT Mustang with Magnaflow mufflers at idle to low rpm, but at WOT, I might as well be a Civic.
