Re: better shifter?
it's a smoother shifter but it's also very expensive. but then again you pay for what you get. I have the tri ax as well. I can't really complain about it at all. great shifts. both are great shifters to be honest but the MGW is the better of the 2

the MGW costs the same as the pro 5.0.if the MGW was out when i was in the market for a shifter i definitely would have bought it.I worked at a ford dealer and drove mustangs with every shifter under the sun and IMO
the MGW tops em all

the MGW gets a lot of praise but i cant say if its deserved or hype, its more $ but does sound like a good shifter. i have the Tri-ax and i love it. if you still have the stock shifter you need to get one of these, improve you shifts/times and makes everyday driving so much more fun!

Friend of mine has a Hurts in his 5.0 . He really likes it.

MGW FTW! lol There's absolutely no slack even when it's not in gear... the guy working on my car looked at me like is it in gear? when it was in neutral... real precise shifts, just get used to it because you'll end up going into 3rd instead of 1st when you aren't used to short throws (but I can still take off with it in 3rd because of the 4.10's)

the pro 5.0 is pretty good, too. my buddy has one in his Cobra. IMO, you can't go wrong with Steeda, pro 5.0 or MGW. they're all great shifters. i'd say it comes down to personal preference and your budget. i'm running a Tri-Ax and i got it as a Christmas gift, so it fit my budget very nicely lol
