mustang V6 -06 break lights dont turn off
i can not turn off the break lights.
has anyone got this problem? there is no difference if i press the break pedal. and if i turn off the car and lock it. it still wont go off. could it be the relay, if so wich one. i might need the service manual. where can i find it? thanx for any input. peter in sweden. |

did you short a fuse and it is "fused" together? if there is a fuse for the brake lights only then that might be the problem

re v6 electric problem
no short fuse.
i had it to a carshop, they could not find what it is after 3 h of troubleshooting. |

un plug the battery for 30min.. and plug it back up.. Go inside the car and lightly lift the break pedal towards u it might be stuck a little?...idk

there is a switch under the break pedal if you jar it or bend the bracket the switch can get stuck in the activated position check it thats most likely your issue.
