How much can I lower it?

I wanna lower my car but i dunno how much i can lower it n still put 17 or 18 inch rims on, Should i just wait to lower it till i get rims or does some one know how much i can lower it n still fit 17s on, I want her ridin ass low as i can.

why? too low doesnt look very good on a mustang imo, but to each their own, i would say with 18s no lower than 3" but i dont know for sure

you cant lower it any more than 1.5 inches or your gonna have to get caster/camber plates

i have 17s and sportlines. thats over a 2" drop. i have 17x9 and 17x10.5 and dont scrape.

I had to pick up my kids and all their shit from a 3 week trip to Ohio. It had the car way over weight. I thought it looked good so close to the ground. It probably had it 2 or 3 inches closer to the street. It made me think about lowering it. The big problem for me around here is speed bumps. Mines at stock height and I still bottom out the exhaust over K-marts speed humps... those bitches!

yes but they also lower the car even more. the pro kit lowers them 1.5" and the sportline is 2"-2.75"i believe and correct me if im wrong

i would lower just 1.5 and put 18 in thats what i want to do after i get all fixed

my buddy has 18s with the sportlines and it looks great. his is an 04 by the way
