Straight out of MM&FF.

So, yeah...186rwhp. Minus 3hp from them doing it in 3rd gear. So 183hp!

So much h8 for the S197 v6s They really are amazing cars, too.

thats on a Dyno Jet....dyno jets ahve anyhere between 10-15% higher numbers over a Mustang Dyne...thats why a lot of shops and products are done and tested on dyno jets....and when done on a Mustang Dyne it usually states it because numbers are lower and they dont want people to be discouraged...since on a dyno jet they would like the numbers they see there which may be higher but put the same car on a DJ and a MD make different numbers and run the same 1/4

Oh alright. Which dyno is used more often? I didnt know that there was a drastic difference in the two. Kinda weird that theres 2 different ways to calculate the same thing, and come up with 2 different answers

it's a known fact that a dynojet will produce anywhere from 8-12 % higher numbers than a mustang dyno.

Dyno Jets are used more...but if u want on the money and ok with lower numbers Mustang Dyne...because my car will dyno about 215 rwhp on a DJ and its only 196rwhp on a MD right now...and even asking Justin Starkey and estimate of me dynoing he said the same ...about 210-215...pending weather conditions that day some 5hp give and take

Alright, so a mustang dyno is more accurate. Why does anyone use a dynojet then? Seems very redundant, and almost misleading. Is there any benefits to using one over another? One used for tuning, other just for numbers etc?
