shifters

well anyways lately ive been looking into shifters. im ignorant in this area and wanted to ask some questions. the 3 i have been looking at are steeda tri-ax, mgw, and hurst. i found another topic in the drivtrain section that a few people said they like MGW the best. im interested in Hurst i think mostly for the look. so i wanted to know if anybody has a hurst short throw shifter in their 99-04 and if they have any pics, ive only seen a hurst in an 05.

but essentially i want to know how beneficial a short throw shifter would be in a V6 DD. im stock right now and the only other mods i would be doing along with the shifter would be exhaust and cai.

You will enjoy driving again with a short throw.

will i see any performance differences or would i probably have to do gears or something else along with the shifter to feel a difference in performance?

no the only plus you will see from a short throw would be quicker shorter shifts.

i took off .2......and even if it was only .1 for a mod under 100dollars give or take its not bad...and its a lot better then using a stock shifter...unless it was cut down in size....i think im gona do that with my spare re thread it and see how i like it
