nice...but wouldn't that kinda restrict airflow, giving less horsepower?

Kinda cool...couldn't that be done with a tuner too though, by lowering the idle rpms

not necessarily im not sure if it would improve the rpm return speed with a tuner but u can definitely lower the idle with one.

so what are they doing ... just allowing more air to flow in or less or what... im not sure how restricting the flow on one of the intakes to the IAC will help a car... seeing as the factory did it that way for a reason ...

thats why im hesitant to fully give in to this... im just a little like... huh? ish about it

it restricts flow less air by passing the TB means a faster rev down and a lower idle which will sound a little more chuggy like a v8 but not as good.

if you were a manual why would you want the idle to drop quickly. then they idle would end up jumping up again as you went to the next gear. but i cant see how this would help in an auto either so what exactly is this suposed to do?

change the idle note, but on a manual u would have to either adapt to it or double clutch to keep them up to rev match

SCT tune on my car when i hit the clutch to switch at the track the rpm needle jumps 1000rpms higher then when i switch to the next gear it drops to w/e rpm

makes sense for racing in way...
burnouts are a bitch in the begining though cause it takes a while for the needle to drop...and i dont wana put it reverse at 3000rpms
