exhaust leak or something else?

so lately my car as been making that infamous clicking noise, noticed at startup by many 99 - 04's, but all the time.

use to it would go away once the engine warmed up, but now u can hear it loud and clear anytime i push the gas more the 1/4 the way in.

at first i thought it was the a/c compressor or the bearings in the a/c pulley, but i listened under the hood and now sounds like its originating from right behind or just underneath the intake manifold.

im thinkin its a possible exhaust leak because ive started to notice the smell of exhaust upon start up. also a co-worker who drives a fox body said it sounded like an exhaust leak to him after i showed him how the car has been clicking.

what do you guys think it could be and how could i fix it?

Is it on the RIGHT side of your car?[passenger]

If so trade that bad boy in now....
(ok so its not that bad but stock mainfold has to come off to be re welded, or you can buy headers.)
