V6 2006 mustang 0-60 time help
I have a v6 06 mustang...automatic... i want to drop the 0-60 from its 6.9 to if at all possible a flat 6 or maybe touch the 5's without hurting engine integrity...Any suggestions or should i just keep dreaming?

Re: V6 2006 mustang 0-60 time help
if you wana hit 5s you'll a power adder at least to get in the high 6s you'd need probably 4.56s which are rediculous for street driving and insane for highway travel

Well Chris don't jump the gun on the new guy lol... your probably right with everything you say and I'm with you. But just for now it is a small possibility that he is modded? I'm just throwing that out there so this wont come back to bite us in the asses lol.

i am pretty sure my car runs in the high 6's and are you sure i need that much more power to shave off that much time to a low 6 even if i run in the 7's?

but usually by reading someones post you can guess what they have im guessing he's pretty much stock or some bolt ons what does your car have? a stock v6 99-04 runs about 7.9 0-60

well you are pretty much right i only have exhaust at the moment but i have 2500 roughly to play with if i only need to shave off a half second what would i need... and are you sure that my car is that slow? You obviously know more about cars than i do but...that seems pretty slow

no. ive got exhaust +more mods and might run a 7.5ish low 7s
what kills me is the traction really best way to shave off half a second 4.10s and t-lok you'll notice a NICE difference with those and with an auto you'll love it it'll be about $400ish for the t-lok AND gears then another $200ish to install both with your other $1900 i know a very good deal that'll shave off that second i just found a guy selling stage 3 heads and a vortech for $1900 the heads alone are $700 shipped...and worth 50+hp on a n/a set up with that s/c you could see 60-70hp out them then add about 80-100hp from the vortech depending on the pulley
