Police issue Crown Vic Interceptor. they put FFRP Aluminum Drive Shafts in the cruisers here

i talked to my buddy when i went up there yesterday to finish pressing the bearings on my new carrier and he said that he is almost 100% sure it will fit but i mat yah to press my slip yolk on the drive shaft. i measured the Interceptors drive shaft from yolk to yolk it was 57.5 inches figured id ask on here before i crawled under my ride.

i would say buy it and give it a shot..

it's only $50.00 and if it doesn't fit you can always resell it.

yah it would be sweet the cop drive shafts are crazy light im talking lift them fir 2 fingers Edit: i just calledhim he says it should fit for sure cuz the crown vic interceptors have an 8.8 rear I just checked my service manual and the slip yolk the drive shaft and the u joints all have the same OEM part number which means the FFRP Aluminum one on the interceptors will bolt right up!! this is fuckin sweet! the centering yolk is the same as well as the part numbers for the bolts so its a straight swap guys!

I live in canada and a drive shaft is super simple to swap a few bolts then you pull the slip yolk out of the tranny, then u slide the new slip yolk into the tranny and bolt up the rear.
